Radish seeds thrive in cooler temperatures, making spring and autumn the ideal planting seasons. Plant seeds when soil temperatures are between 10-25°C for optimal germination. Ensure well-drained, rich soil and a sunny position to maximise growth.
Best results for radish production comes from directly sowing the seed in your garden or container where you want them to grow. Consult our product information as each variety of radish may have slightly different sowing months and maturation times. Generally, to plant radish seeds, directly sow them 6mm deep and 5-10 cm apart within the rows. Ensure well-drained, rich soil and a sunny location. Water regularly to maintain soil moisture, and thin seedlings to their required spacing as they grow. This promotes healthy roots and successful crops, ensuring a bountiful radish harvest.
