Sweet Marjoram / Knotted Marjoram. Grows into a compact bush with greyish, round leaves and a strong tangy-musty flavour. In late spring, it forms small bud like flowers that resemble knots, hence its other common name. The leaves both dried and fresh are used for fish, cheese, tomato and many meat dishes.
