Description

Heirloom flint corn grown by the Hopi Indians of Northern Arizona primarily for grinding into flour and making tortilla like flat breads.  Can also be eaten as a sweetcorn when picked young but it's not that sweet.  Best for making high protein flour or drying with the leaf sheath pulled back for the amazing looking dried arrangement when tied in bundles.  Grows best in fertile humus rich soil.

Matures 100 days from Direct Sowing.
