DescriptionVirtually the same as Ancho but ripening brown and dries a dark Chocolate brown with a smokier flavour than Ancho. An essential ingredient in making the classic mole sauce, together with Ancho and Pasilla and can be used in the preparation of soups, stews and other sauces. The fruits are 12cm long and 6cm wide tapering to a blunt end with a mild to medium heat.
Matures 80 days from Transplant.
