Carrot Giant Flakkee

NZ$3.95

Description

Reliable heirloom carrot that grows a large long root while maintaining its juiciness, colour and flavour even in storage. They make ideal carrots for juicing or as a supplementary stock feed for horses and cattle. Sow them successively from late spring through to autumn for a continuous harvest. Direct sow 10 seeds per metre in rows 20cm apart, bigger spacings between plants as they need the room to bulk up. If necessary, thin to 15cm apart. Choose deep free draining soil.
