Organic Chicory Palla Rossa Early
Bright red medium size radicchio well wrapped with crisp ribs and numerous leaves. Classic tart slightly bitter taste, excellent in salads or as colourful plate liners. Cooking removes bitterness. Cool weather enhances red colouring in leaves. After cutting main head, cover stump with straw for a secondary crop of blanched (white) Witloof-type heads.
