Highly regarded tree from Northern India that's high in vitamins and minerals and almost entirely edible from the leaves and seeds to the roots. Cook the immature seed pods like green beans, the leaves like spinach and the roots like horseradish. The flowers, seeds and bark also have many therapeutic uses. A sun and heat loving plant that is fast growing and thrives in most soil types but unfortunately, doesn't tolerate hard frosts.
