Organic Radish French Breakfast

NZ $2.95

Description

Named for a tradition in some parts of rural France where people took a 'second breakfast' around 10 oclock - freshly pulled French Breakfast Radishes with crusty bread, lots of butter and glasses of red wine. This custom could be adapted to a light dinner treat with salads, cheese and prosciutto ham. This slender Radish type is the epicure's choice for its delicate crunch and gentle fire and should be pulled promptly at maturity since their flavour and texture do not hold in the garden but they do store well in the refrigerator.

Maturity 30 days from direct sowing.
