Description
Highly regarded large white onion so sweet, it can reputedly be eaten like an apple. A 19th century heirloom named for Walla Walla County in Washington State, it's famous for its 450-900 gram size and sweet white crisp flesh. Not a long keeper so best eaten within a month of harvest. Sow mid-autumn for spring harvest or spring for mid-summer.Matures 120 days from direct sowing.
