Description
Delicious distinctly black skinned root vegetable. Similar to the white skinned Salsify, it is more vigorous, has earlier maturity and wider leaves needing a greater distance between plants. Cultivate in the same manner as you would Parsnip by direct sowing from spring through to early summer and harvesting in autumn.
Matures 120 days from direct sowing.
