Onion White Welsh
Description
Multiplying Onion. Perennial type with a thickened and fleshy leaf base similar to spring onion. Used extensively throughout the East where they are essential in Chinese and Japanese cooking. An excellent vegetable-herb, easy to grow, prolific, mild or pungent depending on the season and well worth the small space they take in the garden or in a pot on a sunny windowsill. Useful for pulling as spring onions. Can be divided and re-planted in spring or autumn.
Maturity 120 days from direct sowing.
