Melon Banana

NZ $3.95

Description

Delectable heirloom banana shaped melon from the 1800s. Not even vaguely round, it shares features of both a cantaloupe and a snake melon with an elongated shape tapered at both ends. It has a smooth yellow skin at maturity with very little netting if any and salmon pink flesh that has an intense spicy sweet flavour. The plentiful melons are 45cm long and 10cm in diameter at maturity.

Matures 80 days from Transplant.
