Description
Award winning kale combining the broad leaf frills of a Siberian kale with the rich stem colours of the Red Russian, intensifying in the cooler months. The baby leaf is excellent eaten raw, shredded in summer salads while the more mature leaves have a wide range of uses in winter dishes from soups and stews to boiled greens and used to wrap spicy rice concoctions and baked. Plants have an upright plant habit and are quite ornamental.
