Pumpkin Henri's Potimarron
Description
A classic French heirloom pumpkin we've named in honour of Henri Saurat who brought it to our attention. Known around the world by many names, potimarron is a play on the French words for pumpkin (potiron) and chestnut (marron) suggesting a flavour of the latter. The shape is a Hubbard which is a reverse plump tear drop and it has an almost red skin with deep orange flesh and excellent flavour. Great for roasting, soups, baby food and pumpkin pies. Enjoys a warm growing season in fertile humus rich soil and will store for up to three months.Matures 120 days from transplant.
