Onion Ippon Negi F1

NZ $4.95

Description

Think of a long full spring onion that resembles a baby leek but with a mild sweeter flavour. This is a traditional Japanese single stem non-bulbing onion that you'd grow like a leek mounding round the stem to blanch it in order to get a nice long white shank. Very versatile adapting to most seasons and districts, enjoying fertile free draining soil.

Matures 120 days from direct sowing.
