Description


Goji or Wolfberry is a deciduous woody perennial from China, renowned for its highly nutritious fruit. Loaded with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants the 1-2cm bright orange/red fruit are traditionally dried to preserve them and eaten as a snack, made into fruit juice or used in muesli, soups and casseroles. Relatively easy to grow, plants take 2-3 years to fruit, preferring to grow in well limed free-draining soil and are frost hardy. Watch for slugs and snails. Trees will fruit better when grown together.
