One of the more important herbs in Chinese medicine. Thought to aid one's wellbeing through improving the immunity system, bolstering cardiovascular health along with having anti-viral and anti-inflammatory capabilities amongst others. Easy to grow in dry sandy free-draining soil where the rhizomous roots can be left undisturbed.Matures 2 years from transplant.
