An Austrian Heirloom whose name Forellenschuss means speckled like a trout's back. A green loose-leaf Romaine splashed with maroon freckles having a sweet tender flavour. Ideal for baby leaf and an attractive ornamental. Some heat resistance but shade from the afternoon summer sun is preferred. (30 days baby leaf - 60 days maturity)

Maturity 60 days from direct sowing.
