Also known as Holy Basil or Tulsi and for its uses in Hindu culture and Ayurvedic medicine. This is a green leafed strain with purple stems but darker leaved cultivars are also known. A common ingredient in Thai cuisine with a sweet aniseed flavour, it also makes a refreshing tea. Medicinally, it's used to aid digestion and support the immune system. Germinates best at higher temps than the Sweet Basil types.
Maturity 60-70 days from transplant.
