Lupin Russell mixed
Magnificent at the back of the border, for cutting or naturalised in a cottage garden setting. The stately 1m flower spikes include Rose, Yellow, Red, Crimson, Blue, White and many lovely bicolours with attractive green foliage. Lupins are showy perennials blooming over summer, with new plantings blooming in 4 months from seed. They resent transplanting, sow direct, or in jiffy pots for planting out. A tepid soak for 12 hours before sowing assists seed germination. Give good drainage and cool conditions.
Maturity second season from transplant.
