Attractive but weird looking Nigella species with a Yellow flower that gives way to an upright ornamental seed head, though quite different to other Nigellas. Useful as both a fresh and dried cut flower or just sow them en masse in the border to give a funky look. Readily self-sows but is not generally a weed problem. Easy to grow.
Matures 90 days from direct sow.
