Marigold Nemo Mix
Description
An environmentally friendly control of Nematodes. Nematodes are attracted to the roots of Marigolds, but when a nematode attacks, the root releases ozone, and the ozone encourages the tiny pest to maturity without reproducing. Planting just a few Marigolds around plants will not be effective. You must plant a cover crop of Marigolds, free of weeds, to get the full benefit. Different Marigold species vary in their effects on nematodes. The winner in Dutch trials was the variety Single Gold. It provided almost 99% control of nematodes. Easy to grow.
Maturity 60 days from transplant.
