Highly fragrant Maroon/Violet Blue bicolour. One of the oldest known Old Spice Sweet Peas dating back to 1695 when a Sicilian monk, Father Francis Cupani, found it growing near his monastery. It's regarded as being one of the most fragrant and heat tolerant varieties, sometimes confused with Matucana which is larger, with more flowers but arguably less fragrant and less intense in colour.Matures 90 days from direct sowing.
