Nasturtium Purple Emperor
DescriptionAntique shade of Burgundy Purple Nasturtium that fades to Lavender as summer advances giving a lovely vintage effect. The flowers and young leaves are edible and the immature green seeds can be pickled as a substitute for capers. Prefers poorer soils as rich soils can produce too many leaves at the expense of the flowers. Semi trailling 50cm long vines.
Matures 65 days from Direct Sowing.
