Not to be confused with the Curry Leaf Tree (Murraya koenigii), the Curry Plant is not an edible herb. Despite having very pleasant pungency when the leaves are brushed against or handled, the taste when eaten is quite bitter. The plant itself is low growing with needle shaped grey leaves that are strongly aromatic and the most suitable placement in the garden is where they can be brushed past or touched.
