Being day-length neutral means it will flower reliably regardless of the time of year you sow it, giving consistent, high quality stems whenever you need them.

As a pollen-free hybrid, this is a particularly practical variety for anyone bringing sunflowers indoors, since there's no pollen to drop and mark tablecloths or clothing, and the flowers hold up beautifully in a vase for 7-10 days. The single, sturdy stem and uniform hybrid vigour also make ProCut Horizon a straightforward variety to grow at scale, whether for home cutting or small-scale market bunches.

For the best results, harvest as soon as the first petals begin to open, which allows the bloom to continue developing in the vase and extends its useful life indoors.

Growing Sunflower ProCut Horizon F1

Sow from September through to January at a germination temperature of 18-24°C, with seedlings appearing in 7-14 days.
