Scientists at John Hopkins University School of Medicine studying broccoli and broccoli sprouts identified a natural compound, sulforaphane GS (SG8), which supports long lasting antioxidant and essential cellular function. A 28g serving of broccoli sprouts contains 73 mg of SGS.
Broccoli Sprouts, a fat-free food, are a good source of Vitamin C. As part of a low-fat diet rich in fruits and vegetables, they may help reduce the risk of some types of bowel and bladder cancer.
