Tomato Peron

  • Botanical Name: Lycopersicon esculentum

An amazing Argentinean Heirloom tomato bred in 1958 for its resistance to insects and common fungal diseases. Delicious in taste, high in Vit C and only mildly acidic, the fruit are large slightly flattened globes that ripen to a deep red colour. The thick velvety smooth skin is very crack resistant and can be peeled without immersing in hot water. The flesh is solid and meaty without any core. Performs well in many climatic conditions. Indeterminate.

Matures 70 days from transplant.
