Rhubarb Glaskins Perpetual
- Botanical Name: Rheum rhabarbarum
Early maturing Rhubarb with long and slender juicy bright red stalks. Excellent all round variety that can be harvested lightly the first year by snapping or cutting the outer stalks allowing it to still clump up for the next season. Space out hardened off seedlings in late spring 80 to 90cm apart with 2m between rows in a fertile well drained sunny position. Hardy and disease resistant. Caution: Do not eat the leaves or feed to stock.
