Plantago Star of the Earth

• Botanical Name: Plantago coronopus

Erba Stella or Minutina. A fantastic cold hardy salad plant combining well with Arugula and Miners Lettuce for winter salads. The mild tasting rosette of slender upright green leaves provides a crunchy texture without being fibrous, re-growing after being cut. Flower buds are also edible. Successive sowings will give the best quality continuous harvest.
