- Botanical Name: Barbarea verna
Very similar to Watercress but much easier to grow. A Rosette of dark green, glossy, rounded leaves. The young leaves make a slightly bitter substitute for Watercress in sandwiches and salads or can be steamed for a few minutes and used as a vegetable. Very slow to bolt and longstanding.
Heirloom; 10-25 degrees; 5-10 days; 10cm apart; Hardy; 1.2.3; Direct Sow; 750 seeds; Salad Green.
