Large 18th Century heirloom British turnip with a deeply cut leaf and a green collar. Similar in history to the Norfolk Red Collar but becoming increasingly more rare. Easy to grow and versatile to use with a nicely sweet crisp texture. Treat it like an edible swede or rutabaga. Direct sow into soil that is loose and fertile and keep evenly moist. Thin to 15cm apart.
