Radish Watermelon
- Botanical Name: Raphanus sativus acanthiformis
An unusual flat-bottomed round Radish about 15-20cm in diameter and over 450gm when mature. A green outer skin, red-purple centre with rays spreading through the white flesh. An exquisite garnish to any dish, when thinly sliced, or for use in salads and cooking, as for other varieties of Japanese Radish. Best for late summer and autumn sowing. (70 days)
