Radish Round Black Spanish
- Botanical Name: Raphanus sativus
European winter Radishes are not so well known as the summer varieties, making a root 7.5-10cm diameter and with black skin, but the flesh is white and succulent if grown well. Can be used as a vegetable in soups and stews but generally sliced or grated into salads, without any of the fieriness found so often in the summer varieties. (60 days)
