Parsley Bartowich Long
- Botanical Name: Petroselinum crispum
Distinctive nutty tasting parsnip-lookalike root vegetable. Delicious roasted but can also be grated raw into salads, boiled like other root crops or added to hearty winter soups and broths. An added bonus is its flat green leaf gathered from thinnings to be used in salads or as a garnish. Prefers deep well dug and free draining soil as roots can grow to 25cm long. Lift and store like carrots. (95 days)
