Florence Fennel Romanesco
- Botanical Name: Foeniculum vulgare azoricum
Traditional European plant with a gorgeous aniseed taste. Large, crisp and flavourful bulbs are wonderful sliced thinly in salads or simply use as an elegant garnish. Also suitable for baking. A late maturing variety that requires consistent moisture levels to achieve size and to avoid bolting so plant late summer onwards.
