Beetroot Burpees Golden Globe
- Botanical Name: Beta vulgaris var crassa
A succulent and delightful treat best eaten when the Beet is between golf ball and tennis ball size. Does not bleed like red types. The green tops can be steamed or boiled and have a Spinach like flavour. Sow more thickly than normal as it has an inherent lower germination trait.
