• Botanical Name: Allium cepa

A long day, medium large, dark red onion with a mild yet pungent taste that stores very well. It is best planted in spring, harvested in autumn and doesnt mind being planted closely together as its thick flat shape can cope with being crowded. Can be grown as a red bulbing spring onion.
