Onion Italian Long Keeper

Botanical Name: Allium cepa

Large round golden brown skinned onion that stores exceptionally well. The late maturing bulbs have dense firm white flesh with a sweet pungency, the biggest ones about twice the size of a Pukekohe Long Keeper. Best sown in spring and early summer. For an autumn harvest into rich well drained soil.
