Squash Spaghetti
- Botanical Name: Cucurbita pepo
Vegetable Spaghetti. A fascinating and delicious vegetable with oval 1-2kg yellow fruit which when mature can be steamed or baked whole for 30 minutes, or until tender, making sure to puncture the skin with a fork beforehand. When cut in half after cooking the inside turns out in spaghetti-like strands and can be eaten hot with salt, pepper, butter, or with tomato sauce or other seasonings.
