Squash African Gem

• Botanical Name: Cucurbita pepo

Rondini is a strong vining Gem Squash originally from South Africa. The fruits are round, dark green with lots of lighter spots. Fruits can be eaten as a summer Squash from 4cm in diameter up to grapefruit size, 8cm diameter, as a very early winter Squash weighing 100-200g. Cut in half, stuff with minced meat and bake or cut in half and, after they cool down, serve filled with cottage cheese or favourite filling etc. Delicious. (80 days)
