Pumpkin Queensland Blue

• Botanical Name: Cucurbita maxima

Highly regarded Australian Heirloom pumpkin since 1932, probably owing some of its early parentage to Marina di Chioggia or similar. The fruit is deep bluish green with deep ribbing around the sides but flat on the top and bottom. The flesh is thick dense semi sweet and very flavourful. Expect 2 or 3, 4-8kg fruit per vigorous vine with excellent storage. (100-120 days)
