Pumpkin Musquee de Provence
- Botanical Name: Cucurbita moschata
Southern France mainstay Heirloom pumpkin. The ribbed flat fruits are bigger than Long Island Cheese averaging between 5-15kg in weight and are excellent keepers. The thick moderately sweet deep orange flesh is often sold in wedges in French supermarkets and Farmers markets. Rampant vines will produce 2-5 fruit per vine. Fruit are green when immature and ripen to a rich brown hue.
