Cucumber Poona Kheera

Botanical Name: Cucumis sativus

Heirloom Indian cucumber noted for its golden brown skin and exceptionally crisp sweet never bitter flavour. The fruit starts out white, maturing to yellow and then brown. An excellent keeper, it stores for weeks in the fridge without losing quality. Like other cucumbers, its flesh also has a soothing quality on the skin especially on the delicate area around the eye.
