Cucumber Lemon
- Botanical Name: Cucumis sativus
An old favourite, Lemon Cucumbers effortlessly produce loads of light yellow fruit, just the colour, size and shape of pale Lemons. When young they have a mild crunchy texture, are burp-less (non-bitter) and are delicious eaten just like an Apple. They are among the best tasting crunchy pickles one can make (both sweet and dill types). Pick them young before they colour up and become tough skinned. Provide support for the vigorous growing plants and their abundant harvests.
Heirloom; 20 degrees; 6-8 days; 60cm apart; Warmer Temps; 1.2; Transplant; 30 seeds; Gourmet.
