Watermelon Moon & Stars

  • Botanical Name: Citrullus lanatus

The features of this Melon that give it its name are the little yellow dots which form like stars over the dark green surface interspersed with larger 50 cent size round moons. The yellow speckling is also carried over onto the leaves so do not despair of some disease attack as this is normal. Fruits can grow up to 15kg and the reddish pink flesh has outstanding flavour and is sweeter than most Watermelons.

Maturity 85 days from transplant.
