Fennel Sweet Leaf

  • Botanical Name: Foeniculum vulgare

Non-bulbing fennel with prolific sweet aniseed flavoured feathery foliage. Useful addition to salads, Asian and traditional European dishes, as a garnish, for baby leaf and, over-wintered, the plants produce seeds which are used in baking. Medicinally, fennel seeds are used in teas, as a digestive and expectorant.
