Botanical Name: Centaurea cyanus

Floriferous yet compact dwarf Cornflowers coloured Pink, Blue, Red or White. The very uniform ball shaped plants are literally smothered in fully double flowers with the added bonus of being edible and for decorating desserts, drinks and salads. Pick when 1/4 to 1/2 open. Plants prefer cooler temperatures and will tolerate poor soil of average fertility as long as it is well drained.
