Flax Flowering Scarlet
- Botanical Name: Linum grandiflorum var rubrum
Easy to grow and very free flowering all summer and into autumn with brilliant Crimson-scarlet 4cm across flowers having a silky sheen plus narrow pointed grass-like leaves. The slightest air movement will set the flowers in motion. Plants adapt to a wide range of soil conditions, even poor soils and will spread approx 12cm. May be planted in pots for spring flowering indoors.
