- Botanical Name: Myosotis alpestris
Alpine Forget Me Not /Woodland Forget Me Not.The classic standing Forget Me Not which grows well in almost any soil, in the sun or shade, but does particularly well in cool places. They are incomparable for flowerbeds, make excellent edging or border plants and provide lovely long lasting cut flowers. Although they are biennials they can be grown as annuals if started indoors 8-10 weeks before last frost. The plants are profuse bloomers that readily self sow.
